Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Milo Labs, Inc. ("Milo Labs", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the QuotePilot service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the Service:

Account information. Name, email address, hashed password, and company name you provide at signup.
Content you submit. Files you upload (RFPs, plats, plans, spreadsheets), text you type, conversation history, generated proposals, and configuration such as rate cards and saved jobs.
Usage and device data. IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and basic request logs used for security and debugging.
Cookies. Session and authentication cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use it

To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
To generate proposals, quotes, and other outputs you request.
To communicate with you about your account, support, and material changes to the Service.
To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, security incidents, and legal obligations.
To analyze aggregated, de-identified usage to improve product quality. Aggregated data cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

3. Subprocessors

We use the following third parties to deliver the Service. By using the Service you authorize us to share information with them as necessary:

Anthropic, PBC — large-language-model inference for generating quotes and proposals. Inputs are sent over TLS and processed under Anthropic's commercial terms; Anthropic does not train on API customer data.
Google LLC — Maps, Static Maps, and Street View imagery for site previews.
Loveland Technologies (Regrid) — parcel and property data lookups.
Railway Corp. — application and database hosting.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share content you submit with anyone other than the subprocessors above and only to the extent needed to provide the Service.

4. Customer data ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or generate. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload that content and to share it with our subprocessors as described above. You represent and warrant that your use of the Service does not violate any third-party rights, contracts, NDAs, or applicable law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, hashed passwords (bcrypt), access controls, and isolated per-user storage. No system is perfectly secure. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity under your account.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account data and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by emailing the address below; we will action the request within 30 days, subject to retention required by law, security, or backup integrity. Aggregated, de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights email us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right under applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the U.S. and other countries where our subprocessors operate.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance.
